TIPS ON HOW TO DESIGN YOUR OWN INVITATIONS
Creating a custom invitation design for your wedding or party is easier than you think! And most times we do not charge you additional to change the ink colors, fonts, or artwork. Before designing your invitations ask yourself "What is my favorite color?" This will help you decide your color scheme. If you are still stumped, browse our popular blog featuring many wedding color ideas. Next, decide if your wedding or party is casual, elegant, fun, or formal. This will give you direction on the style of invitation and fonts you will use. Invitation samples of styles include folder card style, layered invites, large 7" square invite with vellum and hand-torn edging, and traditional invitation size of 5.5" x 7.75". Many of our clients are very creative and use themes to express their personalities. If your event is more casual or you aren't too concerned about the printing style digital matte finish printing is for you. If you want your guests to know your event is more formal then letterpress or raised ink thermography is for you. Next, you will want to decide if you want artwork, a monogram, a hand drawn silhouette, or just text in your favorite font. And that sums up the steps to designing your own invites! Always feel free to ask us questions, we have been helping clients design stationery for over 13 years. xo
